New control panel CPANELX3

We have added a new control panel interface: CPANELX3. You can preview a screenshot image below these words.

It has several new features and in a few days we will make it the default control panel.

For now, the default control panel is VISTAPANEL. ATTENTION: Now, the default control panel is CPANELX3. But if you want to continue with the old control panel VISTAPANEL, choose VISTAPANEL instead of CPANELX3 in the drop down menu just by the Log in button when you access to control panel, as shown in the following image:

If you find any problem with CPANELX3, please fill in a support ticket describing any error and giving as much details as you can.

This new control panel will make your migration to a Paid Hosting from ifastnet.com much easier for you because it is a very similar panel to the paid hosting one.

No more Google Apps Standard Free Edition. What now?

Google has recently announced some changes to Google Apps for businesses. Now they offer Google Apps for Business including 99.9% uptime guarantee, a 25GB inbox and 24/7 phone support for any issue for only $50 per user, per year. Existing Google Apps Standard Free users will still be free until further notice.

This is bad for free hosting users because the free version of Google Apps was the perfect combination for our Free Hosting accounts.

So, what now? Visit the following link with instructions showing there’s still a way to get one Free Google Apps Standard account for a single user. First, sign in to your GMail-Google account. Now, point your web browser to http://appengine.google.com/ and follow on-screen instructions to add your domain and create your custom e-mail account.

An alternative is offered by MicroSoft with Outlook-Windows-Live-Hotmail-MSN accounts. Visit the following link: it explains how to use outlook.com with your own web domain. Sign in to your account and visit domains.live.com to add your domain and create your custom email accounts. You will need to make changes to some of your records (DNS, MX, CNAME, SPF…) and follow provided instructions.

Possible connection errors while improving free hosting servers this week

Our free hosting servers are being improved at this moment. While this work is in progress, free hosting users may get intermittent FTP disconnections and errors loading their web pages -sometimes showing an internal error with the message server connection terminated. A few clients have already suffered this.

If you encounter any of these issues, please be patient, wait a few minutes/hours, have a cup of tea, go for a walk or have some sleep and try again.

As always, you can contact us signing in to your control panel and creating a NEW ticket whenever you need to.
